Public Education: The Propaganda unit with the cooperation of Veterinary Information Bureau as well as District SPCA is participating by putting up stalls at State level Adivasi Exhibition Mela, Puri Car festival, Gramshree Mela, District level exhibitions and Go-Sambardhan week every year.
For stopping of Animal sacrifice in religious places, the State SPCA launches special programmes and drives of awareness with association of local NGOs. Some glimpses of the activities of the past are given below.

Relief and Rescue Operation: The state SPCA, Orissa with the help and Co-operation of veterinary department had performed Relief and Rescue operation work during the Natural Calamities. The activities performed during those situations are as follows.

Animal Health Camp: Animal Health Camps are organized to spread the message of kindness towards animals and to protect them from negligence in treatment in remote corners where proper veterinary treatment cannot be made available.
